Mission & Vision of The Forerunner Internship

“If My people will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
– 2 Chronicles 7:14

“For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
– Isaiah 56:7

“Shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him … I tell you, He will bring justice to them speedily.”
– Luke 18:7-8

Within our Forerunner Internships, we are calling a generation back to the foundations of consecration within prayer, fasting, a wholehearted pursuit of righteousness, and a focus upon making the 1st commandment to love God as priority in their lives.

Just as John the Baptist was the partial fulfillment of Isaiah 40 as he “made a highway” in the desert for the first coming of Jesus, so we also believe the Lord is raising up another generation of thousands of Forerunners in the Northwest who would prepare the way for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ as they hasten the day of the “revealing of the glory of the Lord” to all flesh (Isa. 40:5).

John was a man given over to the place of prayer, fasting, and holy consecration as he prepared in the wilderness for a ministry that only lasted a few months, but revealed the glory of Jesus to a dark and perverse generation. Jesus called this man the “greatest man born of a woman” (Matt. 11:11). As darkness and wickedness grows within our society, the Lord again is calling for the “Voices in the Wilderness” who would prepare for a day when they would be released to call back a back-sliding generation to the foundation of salvation through Jesus Christ.

The Forerunner Internship is devoted to training, equipping, and providing a context for God’s people to give themselves to the place of prayer and extravagantly exalting Jesus Christ in the place of night and day prayer unto His second coming.
